Sketches for XantHippe

xant hippe

I'm creating an identity, illustration, and tags for AnjaLehn. She is an artisan residing in Denmark who creates some amazing hand knit pieces that she sells in her shop. She also has clothing in some of the local shops, and I'm happy to be working with her on this project. These are my initial sketches for her shop.

Changing Vines

Times change. Vines change. Whether the vines reflect the seasons of change in a realistic manner or not, they reflect the changes in one's life.

Lady Bird + Lyndon

I'm now offering a new print in my shop.
Lady Bird + Lyndon - 8 x 10 Print
Lady Bird + Lyndon - 8 x 10 Print

Lady Bird and Lyndon were first created as an illustration for the Decemberists/NPR SXSW Showcase Poster contest. I used gouache and ink to create the original painting. Now, I've decided that I like this piece enough that I should offer it to others; plus, Lady Bird's story is quite sensational. If you get a minute or two, you should read this.
