Medium: Acrylic, Gouache, and India Ink on Canvas
I thought I would display a bit of the progression of this painting. I'm attempting to become better at documenting the progress, but I never want to interupt the flow of the painting. (Maybe that's just an excuse, because it can be somewhat embarrassing to show unfinished work. Artists oftentimes become fairly sensitive about our work...) Nonetheless, the picture below displays a point when I was uncertain about the outcome of this particular painting. I'm very thankful that I added the finishing touches above. I hope it makes the perfect gift for James Yee to give.
