Who doesn't want to look 'nice and pretty?' Well, I used to spend hours applying makeup to people, and it always seemed to boost their esteems. Nonetheless, she wanted to become something more than a blob on a piece of paper, so here she lies.
This particular painting uses India Ink, Watercolor, Goauche, and paper from a painting that I cut into several pieces. It's been mounted on black recycled paper, framed, and is currently showing in Boston at Espresso Royale on Newbury Street.
