I was encouraged by one of my clients to create some LARGE scribbles--sketches. She said that she really liked all of the scribbles--sketches she'd purchased, but she wanted to see something BIGGER! Well, I decided to go all out and create a rather LARGE drawing on 100% recycled French paper, so I could keep the environmental concept alive. This is the second LARGE scribbles--sketch I've created, and they take quite a bit of time, energy and ink. (It's all worth it in the end.)
With this series, I'm focusing on CITY scenes. This scene reminds me of a couple different places I've been before, but the idea is juxtaposed, strictly created from my imagination. I feel like I've met these people and maybe even talked to them a time or two.
I'm currently not selling these LARGE scribbles--sketches on etsy, because I'm making every effort to show them in local venues. If you're interested in purchasing one of them, please contact me.
This particular piece has been submitted to an art show called Juxtapositions in Hudson, NY. Let's hope that something I submitted gets accepted!
